Swiss ambassador talks about favorite Iran dish

Ambassador of Switzerland to Iran talks about his experiences of Iranian attractions, food and culture during his four years mission in the country.

Markus Leitner said in an online video posted on the official Twitter account of the Swiss Embassy in Iran as his farewell message, “This country (Iran) has a rich culture, beautiful landscape and the most hospitable people that I have come across.”

He added climbing Mount Damavand, Iran’s highest point, and eating an Iranian dish known as Fesenjoun stew were among his favorites.

The way he sees Persian, “Khasteh Nabashid” (don’t be tired) is his best catchphrase of the Iranian official language.
